RN Clinical Coordinator - Urology
Purpose & Scope
In addition to providing patient care, the Clinical Coordinator (RN) is responsible for facilitating the daily patient flow through the department and supervising the patient care delivery on each shift. The Clinical Coordinator will perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. The Clinical Coordinator will perform multiple clinical and coordination tasks with a high degree of competency.
About the Role
The Clinical Coordinator (RN) position requires knowledge of both department and hospital policies and procedures relevant to the delivery of clinical care.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate daily patient flow through the department
- Supervise patient care delivery on each shift

Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
- Two years of health care/patient care experience is required.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Virginia Department of Health Professions or compact state licensure in nursing is required.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
- Experience: Supervisory experience is preferred.
- Health Care/Patient Care Experience: Two years of health care/patient care experience is required.
