RN Clinical Coordinator Resource Float Pool
About the Role
As our RN Clinical Coordinator Resource Float Pool, you will actively support the department director/manager by coordinating clinical and department activities for the unit, serving as a vital clinical resource and professional role model. You will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, ensure high-quality care delivery, act as a crucial link between physicians and the patient care team, authorize work procedures, assign duties, manage as shift charge, and actively take patient assignments based on unit needs and acuity. This role promotes patient well-being and adheres to professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interview, review of medical records, and clinical data.
- Evaluate patient’s response and intervene to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement patient plan of care and observe outcomes in accordance with nursing standards and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Provide leadership, support, and coordination of unit’s daily operations during designated shift.
- Assist in directing, organizing, and prioritizing all shift activities ensuring patient care and staff needs are met.
- Ensure appropriateness of admissions/cases to the unit/department and that appropriate staff skill mix exists to provide safe patient care.
- Serve as a liaison to the multidisciplinary patient care team.
Requirements
- Required Associate's Degree in Nursing or by endorsement.
- One (1) year of clinical RN experience.
- RN license to practice in the state of employment as applicable.
Qualifications
- Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Nursing Specialty Certification.
- Two years of hospital RN experience within a specialty.

The Common Spirit Mountain Region Enterprise Resource Pool consists of both clinical and allied roles that flex or float throughout the Common Spirit Mountain Region system. Associates within the Enterprise Pool will have the opportunity to float to multiple units within one facility, a geographic group of facilities, or to all of our facilities. This pool will provide additional resources to support and supplement the workload and staffing needs across the system.

Enterprise Pool: 1 Base rate + $3.00/Hr. Pool Differential + Eligible for evening, night, and weekend differentials. Facility preference is the location closest to home.
Pay
Pay Range: $34.14 - $54.46 per hour.
