About the role

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator/Educator operates under the direction of the Department Director and Patient Care Manager (PCM) to ensure compliance with hospital and nursing philosophy, policies, and procedures. They assist with patient care issues, provide education, and serve as a clinical resource to staff during their shift.

Responsibilities

• Assists with patient care issues
• Provides education to staff
• Serves as a clinical resource to staff
• Affirms the delivery of safe patient care through the nursing process
• Collaborates with the Professional Development Department to ensure staff compliance with required education
• Routinely assesses clinical competencies for appropriate staff

Requirements

• Current unrestricted AL or Multi State RN licensure
• BSN preferred
• 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse preferred
• 3 years recent L&D experience
