RN Clinical Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates interpersonal skills and competency in leadership, supervision, and management of staff.
• Collaborates in the development and implementation of policies, systems, and programs to guide assigned functions, activities, and responsibilities.
• Handles day-to-day operations such as payroll adjustments, schedule changes, following up on patient complaints, and quality reviews.
• Assists the nursing manager with implementation of new programs, employee evaluations, and disciplinary issues.
• Evaluates and documents patient response; monitors and recognizes changes in physiological and psychosocial status; takes appropriate action based on assessment of the patient.
• Practices, develops, and endorses customer service skills in relationships with internal and external customers.
• Demonstrates knowledge and application of the nursing process.
• Adheres to downtime procedures.
• Adheres to established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives.
• Performs both essential and non-essential job functions in a safe manner as identified by Norwegian American Hospital.
• Demonstrates an understanding of and models the mission and core values of Norwegian American Hospital.
