Job Description

This role is a PRN RN clinic position focusing on complex Gynecology cases such as fibroids, endometriosis, and related disorders. Key responsibilities include:

• Assessing patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs.
• Developing and implementing patient care plans collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team.
• Administering therapeutic and diagnostic interventions like IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection.
• Advocating for and protecting patient health, safety, and rights.
• Providing patient and family education, using motivational interviewing and teach-back methods.
• Engaging patients in care, respecting cultural differences and diversity.
• Delegating tasks to non-RN personnel according to State Board of Nursing and hospital policy.
• Coordinating group visits for high-risk patient populations and aiding in the care transition of these patients.
• Participating in continuous process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Nursing (Required)
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Preferred)
• Registered Nurse (RN) License (Required)
• Basic Life Support - CPR Certification (BLS) (Required)
