RN - Circulator (Surgery Center) → Registered Nurse - Circulator

Role: Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring accountability and evaluating care effectiveness. Coordinates with other departments, maintains patient rights and confidentiality, and upholds organizational standards. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN licensure in the relevant state or compact. Must meet all state board requirements. Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire. Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, or specialty certifications may be required based on the unit. Responsibilities: Performs nursing duties including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. Maintains professional and ethical standards, collaborates with healthcare team, and ensures high-quality, patient-centered care. Physical Demands: Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform physical tasks such as reaching, bending, kneeling, and twisting. Skills: Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, teamwork, and adherence to safety and confidentiality standards. Willingness to obtain required certifications for specific unit needs.
