RN Charge Nurse Leader - Med Surg 2N

Responsibilities

• Assessment, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of patient-centered care.
• Facilitating, precepting, and mentoring staff and team members for professional growth and skill advancement.
• Continuous assessment of unit needs to ensure adequate resources for shifts, collaborating with other departments and teams.
• Ensuring safe, competent practice, quality care, and continuous improvement by holding team members accountable.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree within 3 years of hire.
• Registered Nurse license in the state of Ohio.
• Minimum of 1 year clinical nursing experience.
• CPR certification required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC certifications (if required and not current, must be obtained within 6 months of employment).
• Demonstrated leadership and coaching abilities.
• Demonstrated professional and ethical behavior.
• Passion for nursing and teamwork.
