RN Charge Nurse - Inpatient Rehab

About the role

As the RN Charge Nurse, you'll serve as a frontline clinical leader, helping coordinate daily operations, support staff, and ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care. You'll act as a clinical resource, mentor team members, and partner with leadership to promote positive outcomes for patients and caregivers alike. Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care and unit operations during the shift
• Support and mentor nursing staff
• Serve as a clinical resource and role model
• Assist with staff orientation, development, and performance coaching
• Promote teamwork and collaboration across disciplines
• Support quality improvement initiatives and operational excellence
• Ensure a positive patient and family experience

Qualifications

Required:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current Washington State RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire
• Minimum two years of acute care nursing experience
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Preferred:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Three or more years of acute care experience
• Previous leadership or charge nurse experience
• ACLS within six months of hire
• CRRN certification within six months of eligibility
• Rehabilitation or specialty-care experience preferred

Pay

$60.92 - $90.09 per hour
