RN Charge Nurse Full Time Nights

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the delivery of nursing care through the nursing process.
• Utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Provide direct care and delegate/navigate nursing care according to the Nurse Practice Act.
• Cook up and supervise nursing unit activities related to patient care.
• Participate in patient and family education as necessary.
• Lead and provide clinical guidance to nursing staff and ancillary personnel.
• Incorporate interdisciplinary reviews into the plan of care and education plans for assigned patients.

Requirements

• Current, active RN license in the state of employment.
• Current BLS certification from an approved vendor.
• Current ACLS certification from an approved vendor within six months of hire.
• One year of medical/surgical hospital experience required.
• Two years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
• Critical care experience preferred.
• Previous charge nurse/supervisory experience preferred.
