RN Charge Nurse Full Time Days 10K

Vibra Hospital of Fargo, located in Fargo, ND, is a 31-bed Critical Care Hospital providing acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Our patients often require additional critical care for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you really get to know your patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Deliver efficient, high-quality patient care.
• Manage personnel and coordinate nursing service activities for the scheduled working shift in accordance with hospital philosophy, objectives, and policies.
• Work with employees and other managers to develop systems and procedures for daily operations.
• Provide training, information, and support to solve problems and accomplish assigned objectives.

Requirements

• Diploma or Associate of Science Degree in Nursing (required).
• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment (required).
• Current BLS and ACLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor (required).
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (preferred).
• Critical care experience (preferred).
• Three (3) years of experience in an acute care setting (preferred).
• Prior supervisory experience (preferred).
• CCRN certification (preferred).
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
