About the role
A staff nurse is responsible for implementing the philosophy, objectives, standards of care, policies, and procedures of the Nursing Division under the direction of the location’s Nursing Supervisor and/or Office Manager. The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care. This position also trains new clinical employees in office protocols.

Requirements
- Graduate from an approved School of Nursing.
- Current RN license with North Carolina State Board of Nursing or Compact License recognized by NC State Board of Nursing.
- Maintains current BLS certification.
- Knows current trends and techniques in nursing.
- Possesses the ability to relate effectively to patients, their families, physicians, staff and all others using proper channels of communication.
- Recognizes the importance of being a professional role model for others.
- Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her unit(s).
- Delivers outstanding customer service that upholds CarolinaEast's Standards of Excellence.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of current trends and techniques in nursing.
- Ability to relate effectively to patients, their families, physicians, staff and all others using proper channels of communication.
- Recognizes the importance of being a professional role model for others.
- Knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs.
- Ability to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her unit(s).
Skills
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of current nursing practices and techniques.

Pay
$5,000.00 sign-on bonus for qualified, full-time candidates.
