Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a talented Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cath Lab team. The position offers a flexible schedule starting immediately for 8 weeks, with shifts from 7:30 AM to 4 PM, plus call every other weekend with 2 days call during the week.
Requirements
- BLS, ACLS, Cath Lab and/or EP experience
- Permanent address within 50 miles of the facility
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergencies during procedures
- Participate in continuous professional development and training sessions
- Contribute to achieving departmental targets and performance metrics
- Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare team for optimal patient care
- Adequate compliance with safety and regulatory standards in the lab
- Educate patients and families about procedures and post-care instructions
- Adapt to evolving technologies and methodologies in cardiac care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of lab equipment
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the Cath Lab
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff members
Qualifications
- Current RN license with specialization in cardiac catheterization
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting
- Proficiency in monitoring and interpreting patient vitals during procedures
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cardiologists and healthcare teams
- Strong understanding of safety and regulatory standards in healthcare
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development
- Experience in educating patients and families about cardiac procedures
- Experience in adapting to new cardiac care technologies and methodologies
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate and detailed patient records
- Experience in mentoring and guiding junior staff members
