About the role

As a Home Health Aide at Amedisys, you will provide compassionate care to patients in their homes. This includes assisting with daily activities, medication management, and helping patients maintain their independence.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal hygiene and grooming
• Help patients with meal preparation and nutrition
• Monitor patients' health and report changes to healthcare providers
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
• Ensure patients adhere to prescribed medications and routines
• Perform light housekeeping tasks in the patient's home

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Pass a background check
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
