About the role

This hybrid position in Dallas offers an engaging environment that fosters innovation and excellence while allowing you to collaborate with a team dedicated to empathetic care in workers' compensation case management. You will be recognized for your expertise and commitment with a competitive salary range of $76,000 to $85,000.

Responsibilities

  • Manage case management files for injured employees within the workers' compensation framework.
  • Maintain constant communication with all relevant parties to ensure continuous monitoring of progress and strict adherence to evidence-based guidelines.
  • Educate providers and facilitate a smooth return-to-work process.
  • Document proficiently in case management software.
  • Develop comprehensive care plans in collaboration with physicians and a multidisciplinary team, acting as a crucial liaison for injured employees.
  • Provide exemplary customer service, assist with specialist referrals, and ensure optimal utilization of the provider network.
  • Coordinate closely with employers and claims adjusters to support effective return-to-work efforts, ensuring a seamless transition for all involved.

Requirements

  • Valid RN license.
  • Bachelor's or associate's degree in nursing.
  • Case management certification (e.g., CCM, CDMS, COHN) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience.
  • Familiarity with workers' compensation processes and hands-on case management experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly advantageous.
