RN Cardiac Rehab PRN
Job Summary
As a highly compassionate Cardiac Rehab Nurse, you will provide individualized care plans for patients. You will demonstrate clinical competency, nursing judgment, teaching skills, and a commitment to providing quality patient care.
Qualifications
- Current licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Utah or a Registered Nurse compact license from participating compact states.
- Associate Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Life Support Course (ALS or ACLS) and Certification within 6 months of hire.
- One or more years experience in Cardiovascular experience strongly preferred.
- Two or more years higher acuity nursing experience (EKG, ACLS, general bedside) required.

Pay and Schedule
Flexible Day shift to include weekends, 8:00a - 4:30p.
Skills
You will utilize an interdisciplinary process to provide comprehensive education, assess the ability to learn, special learning needs, and evaluate the effectiveness of teaching and produce desired patient outcomes. You will document assessments, care plans, interventions, and education objectives using computer technology required by the department. You will demonstrate knowledge of the occurrence reporting system and use the system to report potential safety issues.
