About the Role
Provide direct nursing care and clinical monitoring during cardiac rehab sessions in Highland Park.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient responses to exercise, vital signs, telemetry rhythms, symptoms, and tolerance
- Educate patients on cardiac health, medications, risk reduction, diet, and lifestyle changes
- Collaborate with physicians, exercise physiologists, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and support individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatment plans, progress, and patient outcomes
Requirements
- IL RN license and CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- ACLS certification within six months of hire
Qualifications
- Preferably at least one year of nursing experience
- Cardiac rehab experience is a plus
