RN - Cardiac Rehab - PRN

About the Role

Provide direct nursing care and clinical monitoring during cardiac rehab sessions in Highland Park.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient responses to exercise, vital signs, telemetry rhythms, symptoms, and tolerance
• Educate patients on cardiac health, medications, risk reduction, diet, and lifestyle changes
• Collaborate with physicians, exercise physiologists, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and support individualized care plans
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatment plans, progress, and patient outcomes

Requirements

• IL RN license and CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• ACLS certification within six months of hire

Qualifications

• Preferably at least one year of nursing experience
• Cardiac rehab experience is a plus
