Shift: Full-time nights (3 × 12-hour shifts per week), 6:45 pm – 7:15 am CST.

About the role

Our 24-bed Oncology unit features single-patient rooms and cares for high-acuity patients, including Bone Marrow Transplant recipients, Oncology ICU, Oncology Telemetry, Chimeric Antigen Receptor T-Cells (CAR-T) recipients, and Phase One or High Acuity Research trial patients. Patient ratios are 1:3 on day shift, 1:4 on night shift, and 1:2 in the ICU.

The unit is staffed with in-unit Pharmacists, a dedicated Palliative Care Team, and a Multidisciplinary Team. Leadership fosters an environment that supports learning, mentoring, and professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to oncology and bone-marrow-transplant patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting.
  • Collaborate with in-unit Pharmacists, Palliative Care, and a Multidisciplinary Team to ensure safe passage and quality outcomes.
  • Participate in shared governance, unit-based councils, and evidence-based practice initiatives.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
  • Current, unencumbered RN license in the United States.
  • Minimum 1+ years of RN experience in the U.S.
  • Minimum 2+ years of ICU experience, with work in an ICU unit within the last year.
  • BLS certification (required within 30 days of hire).

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Oncology experience highly desired.
  • Bone Marrow Transplant experience highly desired.
