Summary of Job Duties
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Behavioral Health Service Line (BHSL) Women's unit consistently provides effective direct care to a variety of patients, will work as part of the interdisciplinary team, based on licensure, title and competencies. The RN seeks, as well as provides, feedback for improved clinical practice. The RN integrates theory and research into clinical practice. The RN provides leadership to members of the nursing team in order to maintain patient care standards. The RN works under the direct supervision of the Clinical Services Manager (CSM).
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with Associates Degree, Nursing Diploma, Bachelors in Nursing, or Master's in Nursing
- Valid RN License
- Minimum of 1 year Registered Nursing experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Strong work ethics and accountability
- 1 year of psychiatric experience
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 or more years nursing experience with current BLS
