About the role

Seeking a registered nurse to provide patient care utilizing the nursing process within a behavioral health setting. The position is based in a 32‑bed behavioral health unit dedicated to adult psychiatric care and includes specialized training for caring for the adult psych population. The role involves maintaining professional accountability, evaluating care effectiveness, and coordinating with other departments to ensure patient rights and confidentiality are upheld.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care.
• Ensure professional accountability for assigned patients.
• Evaluate care quality provided by team members.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Adhere to organizational standards, mission, and values.

Requirements

• Nursing degree from an accredited school.
• Current RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
