Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical and behavioral health needs.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Maintain medical records and educate patients and their families.
• Provide nursing care and services according to state regulations and policies.
• Notify physicians of significant changes in patient status.
• Complete admission and discharge processing efficiently and accurately.
• Communicate with patients, visitors, co-workers, and others involved in patient treatment.
• Administer medications accurately and document controlled substance medication administration.
• Maintain therapeutic rapport with patients while respecting professional boundaries.
• Coordinate activities on the unit as directed.

Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in Arizona or eligibility to practice in accordance with state requirements.
• One year of nursing experience, preferably in psychiatric, mental, behavioral, or substance abuse settings.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training provided).
• First aid certification may be required based on state or facility requirements.

Pay

$7,500 sign-on bonus for day shifts and $10,000 sign-on bonus for night shifts.

Schedule

Shifts are 12-hour days and nights.
