Responsibilities

• Direct the daily activities of nursing assistants to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Complete required documentation for resident admission, discharge, and transfer, ensuring compliance with facility policies.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician and in accordance with established policies.
• Conduct daily rounds of the unit and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Requirements

• Active Nursing License as required by the state.
• Ability to work every other weekend.
• Compliant with state Health Care Worker Background Check requirements.
• Ability to positively relate to residents and visitors.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
• Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, able to handle stress, and maintain professionalism.
• Must be energetic, professional, and reliable.
