About the role
Part-time RN position, weekends 11p–7a.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate total nursing care for residents in assigned areas and provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing personnel and other interdisciplinary team members to maintain standards for professional nursing practice.
- Implement the nursing process to identify residents’ needs, using the interdisciplinary team approach to supply appropriate interventions.
- Provide direct care to residents in accordance with facility standards and standards of nursing practice.
- Delegate tasks to LPNs, CMAs, GNAs, unit aides, and unit secretaries.
- Monitor residents’ physical and mental status on an ongoing basis, responding to clinical changes and emergency situations.
- Provide clear, professional communication to staff, residents, medical practitioners, and family members.
- Answer resident call lights, serving as a role model for all members of the care team.
- Complete all documentation as required by facility standards, regulatory standards, and standards of nursing practice.
- Demonstrate knowledge of and enforce Stella Maris infection control standards, emergency procedures, safety policies, and hazardous material procedures.
- Provide direction to staff as needed during unanticipated situations.
- Ensure prudent use of supplies and materials, maintaining a clean, orderly, and comfortable environment for resident safety.
Requirements
- Active RN or LPN license.
Pay
Hourly rate: $36.25–$55.80. Compensation decisions are made in alignment with internal equity, role scope, and market data to ensure fair and consistent pay practices. Most new hires are typically placed within the lower to mid-portion of the range; offers above that level are reserved for candidates with advanced or highly specialized qualifications.
