About the role

Provides quality nursing care through the application of the nursing process using evidence based practice focusing on excellent outcomes and patient experience within the framework of Shared Governance.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in nursing required for all hires after July 2012; alternatively, an Associate's Degree or Diploma with proof of enrollment in a BSN program prior to hire, continuous enrollment, and completion within 5 years of hire date or internal RN promotion date. An Associate's Degree plus 2 years of specialty experience is accepted in lieu of a BSN.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year med/surg nursing experience or previous OR experience; preferred 1 year Endoscopy experience.
• Licensure/Certification: Current NJ RN licensure, American Heart Association CPR certification, ACLS; preferred certification in specialty.
• Skills/Abilities: Must pass annual clinical competency based program and mandated in-service education; unit specific skills may include IV therapy, basic arrhythmia interpretation, conscious sedation, and End‑Tidal CO2; skills assessed via challenge exam, skill performance, or Staff Development course completion.

Pay

Hiring Range: $43.50 - $63.25 Hourly

Part-time 7:00am - 3:30pm, M-F with on call shifts, Day shift
