The posted compensation range of $34.00 - $50.58 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities
- Providing comprehensive patient care: Utilizing the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to ensure holistic care, including physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. This involves developing individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Continuous learning and professional development: Maintaining current nursing knowledge, participating in ongoing education, and educating patients.
- Effective delegation and supervision: Appropriately delegating tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs), providing clear direction, support, and monitoring to ensure safe and reliable patient care.
- Strong communication and teamwork: Communicating effectively with patients, families (especially during stressful times), and colleagues, and contributing positively to the work environment.
- Self-reflection and accountability: Regularly evaluating one's own practice against professional standards, seeking feedback, and participating in peer review processes.
Job Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Active North Dakota (ND) Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Dakota
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
- Will be willing to obtain PALS/ACLS/TNCC
Preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- ER experience
