Schedule

• Full-time: 7:00pm – 7:30am (Every other Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri & Weekend)
• Part-time: 7:00am-7:30pm (Every other Fri & Weekend)
• Part-time: 7:00pm-7:30am (Every other Mon, Wed, Fri; Every Thurs)

Pay

• RN: $35 - $45 / hour based on years of experience
• $2,500 sign-on bonus paid in installments
• Evening/night shift differential included

Responsibilities

• Supervise direct care of residents and nursing personnel on assigned shift.
• Administer direct care as necessary.
• Administer prescribed medications to patients.
• Make rounds to ensure proper care is rendered in a safe and clean environment.
• Keep physicians and families aware of changes in residents' condition.
• Assist in developing comprehensive care plans.
• Maintain the self-respect, personal dignity, and physical safety of each resident.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all care rendered.
• Respond to resident emergency call system.
• Interface with other disciplines to assure continuity of care and services.
• Accompany physicians when making rounds.
• Encourage restorative care to obtain maximum resident independence.
• Participate in family/resident counseling, as necessary.
• Assist with the orientation and evaluation of nursing personnel.
• Attend in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.
• Assure proper functioning of equipment and adequate supplies.

Requirements

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State.
• Current CPR certification.
• Previous experience in nursing, patient care, or other related fields.
• At least 6 months of nursing experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
• Must pass preemployment screening process, including a fitness for duty physical, criminal background check, drug test, and employment references.
• Some roles require proof of immunity for measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella (MMRV).
