About the Role

Registered Nurse position in the Pre-Operative team, responsible for preparing patients for surgical procedures through comprehensive assessments, collaboration with the surgical team, and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments
• Verify surgical consents and ensure patient understanding
• Initiate IV therapy and administer prescribed medications
• Prepare patients physically and emotionally for procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative staff
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and adhere to safety standards

Requirements

• Valid RN license
• Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of perioperative procedures and safety protocols
