About the role

The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) supports standards of care and provides consultation and expertise in the delivery of patient care. The ANM contributes to goal achievement through personal action and the facilitation of others.

Responsibilities

• Supports standards of care and provides consultation and expertise in the delivery of patient care.
• Contributes to goal achievement through personal action and the facilitation of others.
• Participates in community and professional organizations, demonstrating commitment to the promotion of nursing's visibility and future.
• Provides expert patient care, serves as a resource, consults as requested, and role models communication effectively in all situations.
• Participates in the management of human resources, the development and evaluation of recruitment and retention strategies, and the monitoring of patient and operational outcomes.
• Assumes expanded functional roles within the nursing unit as assigned by the Nurse Manager, including but not limited to: Education, Orientation, Precepting, Quality Management and Improvement, Business Operations, Safety, Standards Development, and Recruitment and Retention efforts.
• May assume an expanded unit role as available and assigned by the Nurse Manager.

Requirements

• 3-5 years recent RN expertise in an acute care setting.
• BS in Nursing preferred.
• Licensed by New York State to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Current CPR certification (American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare providers preferred).

PAY RANGE: $94,130.40 - $124,373.65

Schedule
