RN Assistant Director of Nursing

Responsibilities

• Lead Clinical Operations: Support daily nursing operations in a skilled nursing facility by providing hands-on clinical leadership, assisting with resident care on the floor as needed, and ensuring high-quality, resident-centered care at all times.
• Ensure Regulatory Compliance & Quality: Conduct clinical audits, monitor quality indicators, and maintain compliance with CMS, state, and federal long-term care regulations while driving continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Recruit, Develop & Retain Nursing Staff: Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, coaching, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and ongoing staff education to build a strong, engaged nursing team.
• Support Resident Care & Team Success: Oversee admissions, discharges, and transfers, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, communicate clinical policies and best practices, and step in to support floor staff whenever needed to ensure exceptional resident outcomes.

Requirements

• Licensure / Certification / Registration: Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• BLS Provider preferred.
• Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
• Work Experience: 5 years of experience required; 10 years of experience preferred.
• 2 years of leadership or management experience required; 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

Pay

Salary Range: $92,493.52 - $125,138.10 per year

Schedule

Full Time, Day shift, overtime as needed
