Overview POSITION SUMMARY: This Registered Nurse specializing in anticoagulation management plays a critical role in promoting patient safety and therapeutic effectiveness by managing anticoagulant therapy under provider-approved protocols. This role ensures adherence to evidence-based clinical guidelines through direct patient management to achieve optimal outcomes. More Information: This position has the potential to become a hybrid/remote-working position at the discretion of leadership after competencies have been assessed. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursingExperience: 6 months experience as a registered nurse in ambulatory healthcare settingLicensure/ Certification: Current Illinois Registered Nurse license in good standing. Completion of OSF-approved Anticoagulation Nurse Clinic Education Course(s) (current or immediate enrollment upon hire).Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.Ability to work independently and travel between clinic sites as needed.Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making.Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record system.
