RN Ambulatory Team Lead - Internal Medicine Triage

The Internal Medicine Department at Beachwood Family Health and Surgery Center provides comprehensive medical services for adults. Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee daily operations, workflows, delivery of care and caregiver education as needed.
• Direct patient support, including assisting with clinical oversight to assigned caregivers and patients to ensure quality and safe care.
• Resolve daily operational issues.
• Perform duties of an RN Ambulatory.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and patient safety initiatives.
• Facilitate orientation, teaching, coaching and mentoring of assigned caregivers.
• Aid in preparing department-specific education.
• Participate in quality initiatives, process improvement and research activities to improve patient outcomes, experience and safety.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Two years of recent RN experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross

Qualifications

• Ability to travel to Cleveland Clinic regional locations
• Preferred: Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Previous Charge Nurse or supervisory experience
• Physical Requirements: Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
• Requires corrected hearing and vision to normal range.
• May require some exposure to communicable diseases or bodily fluids.
• Light Work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly (Constantly: activity or condition exists 2/3 or more of the time).

Skills

Provision of professional nursing care to a specific patient population in a variety of ambulatory settings.

Pay

Pay Range Minimum hourly: $34.50 Maximum hourly: $54.40

The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set and education. Schedule

This position offers a flexible schedule with options to work 7:30am to 4:00pm or 8:00am to 4:30pm with 1 rotating evening per week until 8:00pm. Rotating Saturdays are 8:00am to 12:00pm.
