RN - 5NE Medical Unit - FT - 3rd Shift
About the role
Maintains established standards of care, policies, objectives, and goals in administering professional nursing care to all patients. The RN identifies patient needs and priorities for care through assessment. The RN plans and delegates care based on patient needs. The RN evaluates the patient’s response to care and the attainment of or progress toward expected outcomes. The RN is accountable for outcomes of patient care delivered during the assigned shift.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing
- Licensure, Certification and/or Registration: Current Alabama or Multi-state Nursing License required. BLS for Healthcare Providers must be obtained in the orientation period. ACLS, PALS, or NRP is required for critical care areas based on patient population.
- Experience: New RN graduates accepted.
Additional Skill/Abilities
Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently. Department specific competencies must be completed within the provisional period.
