RN, 28 hours/week - Wound Care Center

Winchester Hospital is a 5x Magnet designated, Top 10 Massachusetts recognized 223-bed regional hospital and the leading provider of comprehensive health care services in the northwest suburban Boston area. As a Registered Nurse in our Wound Care Center, you will play a key role in delivering specialized care to patients.
Responsibilities
- Complete assessments, administer medications/treatments, and observe patient progress to evaluate therapies for clinical outcomes and effectiveness
- Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to develop optimal health care strategy plans for each patient
- Support and educate patients and their loved ones to achieve maximum outcomes
Requirements
- At least two years of work experience as a registered nurse
- One year of clinical experience in wound care
- Completion of a 40-hour Undersea & Hyperbaric Medicine Society (UHMS) approved course in Hyperbaric Medicine within 6 months of hire
- Obtain NBDHMT Certified Hyperbaric RN certification (CHRN) within 36 months of hyperbaric training
Preferred Qualifications
- Membership in a professional nursing organization
- Obtain WOCNCB certification as a wound care nurse (CWCN) within 24 months of hire
Schedule
28 hours per week, day shift
Pay
The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $90.14 per hour. Actual compensation is determined based on factors such as seniority, education, training, relevant experience, certifications, geography, job responsibilities, and other applicable factors. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime, and other additional pay practices.
