About the role
The Registered Nurse at Pawnee Nation Behavioral Health plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to individuals recovering from substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. This position requires a strong foundation in nursing, medication administration, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Conduct nursing assessments upon admission and throughout treatment.
- Maintain accurate medication records and controlled substance documentation.
- Collaborate with providers, therapists, case managers, and recovery support staff.
- Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings.
- Complete all clinical documentation accurately and timely.
- Maintain compliance with Joint Commission standards and state licensing requirements.
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
- Provide education regarding medications, treatment plans, and recovery.
Requirements
- Active Oklahoma Registered Nurse license or ability to obtain.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
- Ability to pass background screening and drug screening.
- Strong assessment, communication, documentation, and critical thinking skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, detoxification, or psychiatric nursing.
- Familiarity with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT).
- Experience working within residential treatment or detox settings.
- Knowledge of Joint Commission standards and regulatory requirements.

Pay
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
- Full-Time and PRN Opportunities Available
- Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
- Three-Day Work Week
