About the role
The Registered Professional Nurse is accountable for using the nursing process, delegating patient care tasks, supervising other patient care staff, coordinating the care for a group of patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated.
Position reports directly to the Nurse Manager.
Responsibilities
- Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Delegates patient care tasks to other patient care staff.
- Supervises other patient care staff.
- Coordinates the care for a group of patients.
- Consults with other members of the health care team when indicated.
Requirements
- Current West Virginia RN license.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of acute care experience preferred.

- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
