About the House

We provide a warm and welcoming community of support and respite for families with seriously-ill or injured children. Across our five locations, we welcome 76 families each night for overnight services, as well as hundreds of day-visitors.

Volunteer Opportunities

We partner with the house that love built to provide free haircuts to families staying at the Ronald McDonald House! Volunteers are the Heart of the House - register for orientation here https://vhub.at/IndividualApp.

Hairdresser Role

• Must have Hairdresser Certification
• Excellent communication skills with both children and adults
• An interest in working with kids and families
• General organizational and cleaning skills

Training

You will be given an orientation and House tour. On the day of your first shift, you will meet some of the RMH staff members who will be providing you guidance throughout your time in the House. More detailed training and guidelines will be provided at the start of each shift.

Requirements

• Criminal background check
• Health screening
