Risk Strategy Sr Manager

For our client, we are seeking a Risk Strategy Sr Manager to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will help shape enterprise risk strategy with a strong focus on governance, emerging risk, and responsible AI oversight. The position partners closely with risk stakeholders to strengthen frameworks, identify gaps, and support decision-making that aligns with corporate objectives and risk appetite. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $101,718 – $162,484 annually Responsibilities Support the enhancement of the organization’s AI governance framework, ensuring responsible AI use Collaborate with stakeholders to evolve the AI risk governance framework as new technologies emerge Partner with risk areas to assess and monitor AI-related risks, identifying program gaps Assist in developing an enterprise-wide emerging risk framework and structured scenario analysis Contribute to risk strategies that align with corporate objectives and risk appetite Support the testing approach for non-model AI assets and monitor testing results Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience in risk management 5+ years of experience in Risk Management and/or Internal Audit, preferably in banking Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with Governance Risk and Control (GRC) applications preferred Financial acumen and knowledge of banking industry practices Demonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication skills Benefits Flexible work environment with remote or hybrid options Opportunities for professional development and training Supportive company culture that values collaboration and innovation Access to comprehensive health and wellness programs Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
