Risk Manager - Quality Control
About the role
Capital One’s Card Risk organization is responsible for core areas that span Risk Management, Strategy, Operations, Technology, and Analytics. This organization leads, advises and innovates on top transformational initiatives across the Card business. The Card Risk Process Excellence Team is currently hiring for a Manager that will take our Well Managed transformation to the next level by leading the Quality Control Testing Program.
Responsibilities
- Management and day to day people leadership and operations of quality control assessment team
- Ability to understand and disseminate Enterprise Control Standard requirements and guidance to multiple business areas
- Management and oversight of quality control process, methodology and performance metrics
- Serving as a key participant in Well Managed and tester training programs including, developing, and continuously evolving the Card program training to ensure compliance with the Enterprise Control Standard
- Engaging in Card and Divisional activities as warranted to drive career growth and development
- Building relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders, driving cross-functional opportunities to grow brand, processes and an enhanced risk management environment
Qualifications
The basic qualifications for this role include a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification, as well as:
- At least 3 years of Risk Management, Process Management, or Project Management experience
- At least 2 years of people management experience
- At least 2 years of change management experience in process improvement and transformation
- At least 3 years of experience in process management leading cross functional projects and programs in Risk
- At least 3 years of experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance software tools
Preferred qualifications include a Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree, Process Management Certification, Risk Management certification, and additional years of experience in relevant fields.
Pay
The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are $138,100 - $157,700 for candidates hired to work in Richmond, VA. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation.
