Risk Management Specialist - Financial Analyst

About the role

The Risk Management Specialist – Analyst/Finance Manager performs a dual-function role within the City of Bellevue’s Risk Management Division, providing data analytics, database management, and financial support including budget monitoring. This position works under the general direction of the Risk Manager and serves as a key resource for risk-related data, reporting, and financial administration across the City.

Responsibilities

• Partners with the budget office to manage the Risk Management Division’s operating budget.
• Maintains budget monitoring for Risk Management
• Coordinates with procurement on Request for Proposals and Contract management.
• Participates in insurance policy renewal processes as directed by the Risk Manager.
• Assists in the research, data compilation, and preparation of risk management reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Develops high proficiency with the Riskonnect RMIS (Salesforce Platform Database) to generate and manage risk management data across the organization.
• Collaborates with the City's Business Intelligence team to transition and maintain dashboards in Microsoft Power BI, ensuring accurate and accessible reporting.
• Maintains current reports and corresponding dashboards on City Intranet sites, ensuring information is up-to-date.
