About the role
The Risk Management and Compliance Assistant will assist with monitoring risk management, employee safety, emergency management/preparedness, contracts, and compliance programs.
Responsibilities
- Assists in the risk management program, including but not limited to risk assessment results data input, employee training coordination, and annual risk goal tracking.
- Uses lean strategies to assist in resolving or developing corrective action plans when potential risk is identified.
- Completes Cycle Contract Management.
- Trains Docusign workflows to new leaders.
- Routes contracts to necessary signatories following ICHS policy and procedure.
- Issues annual monitoring reports for all contracts.
- When necessary, follows up with Contract Managers on contract latency or annual monitoring issues.
- Follows up with Contract Managers on retrieving all executed contracts in a timely manner.
- Ensures executed contracts are stored in Navigator Repository.
- Prepares committee materials, including agenda, minutes, monthly reports, relevant documentation coordination, and action-item tracking, for the Corporate Compliance Committee and the HAWP Compliance Subcommittee.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree required. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Related experience may substitute up to two (2) years for the required degree.
- Two (2) years' experience in risk management, compliance, contracting, emergency management, and/or employee safety.
- Ability to travel between ICHS sites as needed. If using a personal vehicle to travel, a valid Driver's License and Proof of Insurance are required.
