Risk Management Advisor

Primary Responsibilities

• Serve as primary liaison for carriers/TPAs, defense counsel, vendors, and various regulatory agencies.
• Oversee performance of carriers/TPAs, vendors, and defense counsel.
• Manage coordination of prompt and thorough claims investigations to determine eligibility and compensability within 24 hours of receiving notice.
• Communicate effectively with management, coworkers, providers, consultants, and representatives from various regulatory agencies.
• Investigate potential for third-party liability (subrogation) and ensure notification of parties at the time of investigation or as soon as there is an indication of third-party involvement.
• Aid in general risk management activities including insurance renewals, certificates of insurance.
