Risk-Credit Risk - Global Markets-Dallas-Analyst

Responsibilities

• Audit the creditworthiness of the firms Private Equity borrowers and counterparts through fundamental credit analysis.
• Review and approve loan transactions, determining the firms risk appetite and regulatory ratings.
• Collaborate with Global Banking and Markets, Legal, Operations, and Compliance departments to approve derivatives business and ensure proper documentation, limits, and risk mitigants.
• Analyze the risks associated with products GS transacts, including lending and derivative products.
• Conduct sector analysis regularly to assess portfolio concentration or trends.
• Maintain and report on exposures at the counterparty, product, and portfolio levels.

Requirements

• Hold a bachelor's degree.
• Show an excellent academic record.
• Have a demonstrable track record of achievement and independent decision-making.
• Exhibit strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Display excellent attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Have integrity, ethical standards, and sound judgment.
• Have 0-2 years of experience in a financial services role, preferably in Fund, Hedge Fund, or Private Equity Fund.
• Understand investment banking products, including loan products and derivatives.
