Risk Control Consultant

About the role

As a Risk Control Consultant on the Risk Management team, you'll deliver value-added risk control services to assigned commercial clients in your service territory or industry vertical. You'll also assist Producers in the acquisition and retention of business.

Responsibilities

• Provide risk control consulting services to commercial clients
• Assist Producers in acquiring and retaining business
• Travel regularly within assigned territory, including overnight stays
• Problem-solve and negotiate with senior-level client staff
• Work in a team-based environment with minimal supervision

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Five years of experience in a risk management consulting position (private industry, insurance company, or equivalent education/training)
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Problem-solving ability and strong interpersonal skills
• Goal and results-oriented mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• ARM, CRM, CFPS, RIMS-CRMP, PTC Certificates, RMI, or Fire Science degrees
• 3-7 years of industry experience
• Technical expertise in ISO building construction classifications, NFPA standards, and OSHA Regulations
• Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate risks effectively

Pay

The applicable base salary range for this role is $81,900 to $143,400. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
