The opportunity

The objective of our consulting risk services is to provide clients with a candid and reliable overview of their risk landscape. At EY, we are committed to building a better working world. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage projects focused on regulatory compliance within the Power & Utilities sector.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational processes and efficiency.
  • Drive risk and controls project teams, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify compliance challenges and develop tailored solutions.
  • Provide expert guidance on regulatory requirements and industry trends.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's or master's degree.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the Power & Utilities industry or consulting in the sector.
  • Proven experience in regulatory compliance and understanding of operational processes in Power & Utilities particularly Work Management, Asset Management and/or Utility accounting.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive project teams effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Successful candidates must work in excess of standard hours when necessary.
  • A valid passport is required.

What We Offer

  • A comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business.
  • The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $97,900 to $179,500.
  • The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $117,500 to $203,900.
  • Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
  • In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
  • We offer a flexible vacation policy, where you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances.
