Risk Analytics Consultant

About the role

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Risk Analytics Consultant. Position type: Contract (12 months w/ extension). Location: Charlotte, NC. Hybrid (4 days onsite/ 1 day remote).

Responsibilities

• Consult on moderately complex risk analytics initiatives and deliverables.
• Perform data management, sourcing, mapping, and reconciliation activities.
• Execute integration testing, UAT, and reconciliation testing for risk and capital reporting.
• Validate and transform large datasets using SQL and Python.
• Perform advanced Excel-based analysis, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Collaborate with risk, finance, and regulatory reporting teams to ensure compliance.
• Document processes, lineage, and governance practices for audit readiness.

Requirements

• Experience in data analysis, data management, data mapping, testing, or business analysis within risk, finance, regulatory reporting, or financial services.
• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, validation, and testing.
• Excel skills (complex formulas, pivot tables, reconciliation).
• SQL skills for querying, validation, and reconciliation.
• Experience supporting regulatory, risk, capital, or enterprise data initiatives.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work independently.
