About the role

Responsible for supporting the operation of the risk function by evaluating and analysing risks of varying complexity and for identifying and implementing approaches and solutions to mitigate those risks. May have a focus on one or more particular types of risk such as financial or operational risk and may provide advice to management based on this knowledge base.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and analyse risks of varying complexity
• Identify and implement approaches and solutions to mitigate identified risks
• Provide advice to management based on knowledge of risk management
• Solve a range of mostly straightforward problems with some increased scope and complexity

Requirements

• A professional qualification in one or more areas of risk management or its equivalent
• A growing understanding of business needs and objectives
• A developing professional with a basic skill set and proficiency with procedures and techniques

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of relevant experience

Skills

• Knowledge of risk management principles
• Ability to analyze and evaluate complex data sets
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
