About the role

Risk Advisory Interns are integral members of project delivery teams, gaining exposure to various industries and business processes.

Responsibilities

  • Assess business and IT processes and internal controls.
  • Execute enterprise, operational, IT, and third-party risk management and compliance programs.
  • Develop and execute internal audit plans, including IT internal audits.
  • Understand, document, and assess client operations, processes, systems, controls, and programs.
  • Conduct risk assessments to inform enterprise risk, operational risk, and third-party risk management projects.
  • Analyze data, identify trends, and visualize results using analytics tools.
  • Leverage technology aids to enhance understanding, drive project objectives, and deliver efficient client services.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with team members and clients.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand project approaches, manage risks, execute responsibilities, and recommend process improvements.
  • Gain an understanding of relevant industry trends and business objectives.
  • Support business development activities, including research, proposal writing, and other tasks.
  • Participate in firm-wide activities and initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Desire to pursue relevant licenses/certifications such as CPA, PMP, CISA, CIA, CISSP, CAMS, CISM, or others.
  • Minimum overall GPA of 3.0/4.0.
  • Able to travel at least 25% as required.
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship.
