We are looking for a Risk Advisor to support client risk management initiatives by overseeing claims management, coordinating with Carriers and TPAs, facilitating claim reviews, and serving as a trusted liaison between clients and insurance partners. This role focuses on delivering exceptional client service, resolving complex claim issues, and building strong relationships with clients, internal teams, and external vendors.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the performance of carrier/TPAs and act as liaison between carriers/TPAs and clients, addressing and documenting resolution of service issues.
- Conduct and/or facilitate claim reviews as required by the client service commitment.
- Assist clients in the submission of Property claims to ensure prompt and satisfactory resolution by the carrier/TPA.
- Provide initial and ongoing claim advocacy on serious/specialty claims including analysis, interpretation, and negotiation of coverage disputes. As necessary, report claims on behalf of insured to insurer.
- Participate in client onboarding and renewal process. Act as a client resource to identify and match risk management needs with appropriate products/services to provide an integrated delivery of risk management services.
- Provide loss analysis and recommendations to the production team and Loss Control as needed.
- Maintain communication with the production team on results of services provided and any client issues.
- Develop and deliver effective written and oral communications of technical concepts and deliverables.
Requirements
- 10+ years of Insurance industry experience, with a major portion of that in Multi-Line Claims.
- Must have multi-Line experience (particularly Commercial Lines Liability).
- Strong Insurance Technical knowledge.
- Experience handling large, litigated cases & coverage disputes.
- Extensive client management or client service experience and the ability to interact with, and make presentations to, clients.
- Must have strong Word and Excel skills and be comfortable using PowerPoint.
- Insurance licenses preferred but not required.
