RISE Ministry Associate

About the Role

The RISE Associate will join the team to strategically identify, recruit, and unleash future ministry leaders while helping build a culture that equips the next generation for ministry. This role emphasizes recruiting and relationship building through ongoing engagement with colleges, churches, conferences, and ministry networks, as well as engaging with female interns and residents through key moments of growth and development. The RISE Associate will work alongside the RISE team to strengthen and expand recruiting initiatives while unleashing the next generation of ministry leaders.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment and Relationships: Build meaningful relationships with future ministry leaders through intentional recruiting and ongoing engagement with colleges, churches, conferences, and ministry networks. Represent Southeast Christian Church and the RISE ministry through strategic partnerships, recruiting initiatives, and periodic travel.
• Intern and Resident Development: Guide, shepherd, and encourage female interns and residents as they grow in their relationship with Jesus, discover their unique gifts and calling, and embody the mission and vision of Southeast Christian Church.
• Vision Alignment: Actively communicate and model the church’s vision to unleash the full force of the church to love people one at a time, inspiring others to live this out in all areas of life.
• Strategic Collaboration: Build strong relationships with staff to connect interns and residents with effective mentorship and growth opportunities.
• Program Engagement: Assist in planning and executing RISE ministry experiences, including equipping sessions, spiritual formation practices, team-building experiences, and hands-on ministry opportunities.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in church ministry, with a focus on discipleship and developing future leaders.
• Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church, or willing to become one.
• Exemplifies our seven staff values: Honor, Care, Accountability, Grit, Authenticity, Humility, and Fun.
• Leads by example by fulfilling the staff expectations of groups, inviting, serving, worship, and giving.
• Agrees with the Statement of Faith, submits to the leadership established by the church, and lives out our church Mantras in tangible ways.
