Rink Operator

About the role

The Rink Operator will ensure the ice surface is prepared for use at designated times, assist with facility maintenance, special event preparation, and other essential operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper preparation of the ice surface for use at designated times.
• Assist with the maintenance of buildings and building systems.
• Assist with function and special event preparation.
• Perform other tasks essential to the smooth operation of the facilities.
• Assist with pro shop sales and service, and program administration.

Requirements

• Must work scheduled hours/shifts unless manager/supervisor approves any changes.
• Schedule includes evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Work in a cold environment (ice skating rink).
• Use extraordinary care while working on an ice surface.

Skills

• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Customer service skills.
