About the role
The Senior QA Engineer will:
- Design and implement test plans / test cases, setup test data, and configure hardware for validating software applications
- Test and verify the functionality and performance of product releases
- Work closely with the product manager, software developers, and our customers to support the product development
- Contribute to the entire development process in resolving design, and implementation issues
- Contribute ideas towards the enhancement and/or modification of designs to improve the product
- Report and track bug defects
- Provide and suggest improvements to current testing processes and methodologies
Responsibilities
The qualified candidate will demonstrate:
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of QA experience including all aspects of test planning, execution, and reporting
- Experience in white box and black box testing
- Familiarity with test automation strategies and methodologies
- Hands-on relational database usage (SQL, SQL Plus, database tuning) is highly desirable (Oracle preferred)
- Experience in Unix and Windows
- Experience with load/performance, failover testing
- Java programming experience is a plus

Pay
Salary range: $120,000 - $150,000 annually
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
